Your privacy is critically important  to Beyond Travel, LLC and our partners, affiliates, directors, employees and agents (collectively referred to as "Beyond Travel," "We," or "Us").  Beyond Travel has adopted this Privacy Policy to describe Beyond Travel's company policy on how we use any personally identifiable information ("PII") that you provide to us as requested on Igobeyondtravel.com (the "Site") and non-personally identifiable information ("Non-PII"). 1. About Us

Beyond Travel is a travel company that provides unique travel experiences to its participants by working with community organizations in its destination countries to organize and plan short term community service trips and cultural programs.

Some of our pages may contain links to other website. Because this Privacy Policy sets forth only our privacy practices, this Privacy Policy does not describe the privacy practices of any affiliated or other third party, even when you link to those websites through the Site. Your linking to such other sites is at your own risk and is not governed by the Beyond Travel Privacy Policy. To learn about the privacy practices of affiliated or third parties linking to this Site, you should review the privacy policies on those websites, and not this Privacy Policy, which only applies to the information collected on, and the operation of, this Site. We recommend that you always check the applicable privacy policies of other sites you visit before providing any personal information.

2. Collection of Personally Identifiable Information

This Privacy Policy covers PII collected from and about you on this Site, for example, when you sign-up to take one of our tours through our website and complete a tour registration form. PII includes information that can be used to identify you, such as name, mailing address, e-mail address, telephone number and credit card information.

When you voluntarily provide your PII to Beyond Travel, we will inform you as to the reasons the information is being collected and the types of uses Beyond Travel will make of the PII.

The security of your PII is important to Beyond Travel. We follow generally accepted industry standards both during transmission and once we receive it, and we use a security certificate on our Site. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, however. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your PII, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. 

We may also ask to take your photograph which could then be used for marketing purposes. When we take your photograph for this purpose we will ask for a signed and written release from you allowing us to use your image for this purpose as well as any other purpose described in the release.

3. Use and Disclosure of Personally Identifiable Information and Your Choices

We may use your PII for a variety of purposes as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not want us to disclose information in this manner, do not submit your PII to us. The information you provide is used by Beyond Travel to notify you about, and plan your tour and related services. Beyond Travel will not use your PII for purposes that are different from the purposes detailed herein unless we ask for your permission to do so. In addition, Beyond Travel will not share your PII with third parties who are not affiliated with us unless you have chosen to receive specific information and have been notified that the fulfillment of such a request requires the sharing of your PII.

Disclosure Within Beyond Travel. Within Beyond Travel, we will share your PII with our employees, agents, and contractors who have a legitimate business reason to obtain access to this information.

Disclosure to Affiliated Parties. Beyond Travel may share your PII with service providers that are affiliated with us so as to facilitate the tour services we offer. We may also share your PII with outside contractors or agents who help us manage our activities (i.e. tour administrators), but we will only authorize them to use your PII to provide Beyond Travel with a specific service and not for any other purpose.

Disclosures for Legal Purposes. Beyond Travel may disclose your PII to the government or private parties in connection with a subpoena, court order or as otherwise required by law in connection with a lawsuit, investigation or similar proceeding. Disclosure to Other Non-Affiliated Third Parties. If you provide us with permission, Beyond Travel may also share your PII with advertisers and business partners who are not affiliated with Beyond Travel, but who would like to send you information about their products and services; however, you will always have the opportunity to decline the option to receive information from unaffiliated third parties (and thereby not permit this sharing of your PII) when PII is collected.  Beyond Travel may also work with non-affiliated third parties to collect PII on our behalf, such as credit card processing companies. Beyond Travel will share your credit card information with the appropriate credit card company as necessary to complete any authorized credit card transaction.  WHILE THESE THIRD PARTY ENTITIES WILL BE CAREFULLY SCREENED, BEYOND TRAVEL HEREBY DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL LIABILITY FOR ANY TYPE OF DAMAGES INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES OR LOSSES OR EXPENSES, FOR THEIR ACTIONS AND CUSTOMER INFORMATION PRACTICES.

4. Security of the Site and Your Personally Identifiable Information

Beyond Travel uses reasonable administrative, technical, personnel, and physical measures to safeguard PII in its possession against loss, theft and unauthorized use, disclosure, or modification. In addition, Beyond Travel uses reasonable methods to make sure that PII is accurate, up-to-date, and appropriately complete.

Beyond Travel cannot guarantee your confidential use of this Site and will not assume responsibility for any damage that you or any person may suffer as a result of a breach of confidentiality resulting from your use of this Site or any information that you transmitted to this Site.
