Beyond Travel, LLC ("BT") enables a rewarding experience for travelers who choose a style of travel which is alternative to the ordinary.  In order to make such a travel experience possible, BT works in conjunction with local outfitters and community partners, acting as an agent and organizer.  The services and goods, or their equivalents, to be provided by BT are described in the Program Itinerary for the chosen travel program click here for program details.)  Participation in a BT program requires acceptance of the conditions and terms below, constituting a binding contract (the "Agreement") between BT and the participant indicated on the attached Registration Form (the "Participant"), and payment of an enrollment fee (the "Enrollment Fee") to cover the costs of provision of services and goods relating to the chosen travel program.

THE ENROLLEMENT FEE
Enrollment fees include all accommodations, including home stays, two meals each day, any necessary training, travel to and from the arrival/departure airport, transportation in country, entrance fees to sites of interest (as listed on itinerary) field excursions, honorariums to lecturers and hosts, and related activities. All services and goods to be provided and covered under the Enrollment Fee, or their equivalents, are described within the Program Itinerary. THE ENROLLMENT FEE DOES NOT INCLUDE AIR FARE TO AND FROM THE DESTINATION COUNTRY.

Please Note: Changes in foreign currency valuations, fuel charges, and other items can necessitate small changes in the Enrollment fee. Therefore, the Enrollment Fee is subject to change accordingly.

NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT:
Registration for and participation in BT's travel program requires the payment of a non-refundable deposit of $300.00USD payable to Beyond Travel, LLC, which will be credited toward the Participant's Enrollment Fee. In no case whatsoever will BT refund any amount associated with the non-refundable deposit.

ADDITIONAL FEES:  The Enrollment fee does not include any services and/or items not listed in the Program Itinerary, including, but not limited to: air fare; meals and beverages not listed in travel program itineraries; vaccines and immunizations; passport or visa fees, including photograph fees; travel insurance; excess baggage charges; airport taxes; medical, hospitalization or evacuation costs; gratuities; laundry and other personal items, supplies, equipment, optional activities, telephone and internet services, gifts, or any other good or services not listed within the Program Itinerary. In the event that BT provides any of the foregoing services not listed within the Program Itinerary, BT will assess additional fees as appropriate.

SINGLE SUPPLEMENT FEE: Each participant requesting a single occupancy room will be charged an additional fee (the "Single Supplemental Fee"). While BT will make every effort to ensure that those Participants requesting a single room actually receive one, we cannot ensure the availability of single rooms upon arrival. In the event that BT is unable to secure a single room, the Single Supplemental Fee will be refunded to the Participant.

LATE FEES:  Incremental fees equal to 5% of Enrollment Fee per day shall accrue and be charged to the Participant if the Participant fails to complete Registration Form and pay the Enrollment Fee at least 45 days before the departure date.

PAYMENT: The Enrollment Fee must be paid at least 60 days prior to the departure date. Payment of the non-refundable deposit may be made by check or credit card. All other payments must be made by check or wire transfer. Checks must be in U.S. dollars, drawn on a U.S. bank account, made payable to Beyond Travel, LLC with the name of the Participant clearly displayed on the check and delivered to BT at: Beyond Travel, 237 Flatbush Ave. #146, Brooklyn, NY 11217. For payment by wire transfer, please contact BT at 347.750.6143 for wiring information. If this agreement is signed and delivered less 60 days before the departure date, it must be accompanied by a payment of the Enrollment Fee in full.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS: All cancellations must be provided to BT in writing and at the above address. Any cancellation received less that 60 days prior to the departure date, including, without limitation, cancellations due to actual or threatened terrorist events or due to fear of travel from actual or threatened terrorist events, will not result in any refund of fees. No refund is available in the case of any voluntary withdrawal or withdrawal resulting from illness or accident before or during a travel program.

BT (together with its owners, outfitters, agents, and employees) reserves the right to alter, cancel, or change any trip, program, excursion and/ or activity (or levy a surcharge) due to inadequate registrations or extraordinary events or circumstances beyond the control of BT that would make travel to the destination dangerous, hazardous or impossible, including, without limitation, national disasters, wars, riots or other major upheaval. In the case of cancellation on the part of BT, a refund of the Enrollemnt Fee will be provided in an amount corresponding to the trip, program, excursion and/or activity cancelled. BT will not refund, in any case, the non-refundable deposit amount nor will it refund any costs incurred in preparing for a program that is cancelled.  

LIABILITY : BT gives notice that they act only as an agent in the arrangement of travel services, including those services described in the Program Itinerary, and is independent from any company, owner, contractor, or supplier providing travel services, activities or accomodations. BT assumes no responsibility or liability for injury, loss or damage to the Partcipant's person or property in connection with any travel service resulting, directly or indirectly from any defect in any vehicle or equipment, or through any negligent or willful act (or failure to act) of any company or person engaged in the carrying out, or delivery, of travel services or related activities.  In the event it becomes necessary or advisable for the comfort or well-being of the passengers, for any reasons whatsoever, to alter the itinerary or arrangements, such alterations may be made without penalty to the tour operators.  Additional expenses, if any, shall be borne by the Participant.

BT shall not be responsible for any injury, loss, death, inconvenience, delay or damage in connection with the provision of any goods or services whether resulting from, but not limited to: criminal or terrorist activities of any kind; strikes or other labor activities or unrest; athletic or sporting events or endeavors; mechanical or structural integrity of air, sea, and ground transportation and accommodations; overbooking or downgrading of accommodations; diseases; local laws; climatic conditions; acts of God or force majeure; acts of war or civil unrest, insurrection or revolt; domestic or wild animals; adequacy or availability of health services and/or evacuation services, if such become necessary; delays, changes or cancellation of travel due to weather conditions, hotel services, accidents or health-related problems before, while in-transit to, during, and after a tour or travel program; or any other actions, omissions, or conditions outside of BT’s control.  Baggage brought on the travel program is at the owner's risk at all times. 

By embarking upon his or her travel, the Participant voluntarily acknowledges that partcipation in any of the BT travel programs may involve travel to and within inherently unsafe countries and expose the Participant to significant health and safety risks. The participant acknowledges that he/she is aware of the risks specifically implicated by travel to and within the country involved in the chosen program, regardless of whether BT has specifically informed the Participant of all such risks, and assumes all risks involved in such travel, whether expected or unexpected. The Participant is hereby warned of the above risks, as well as possible trip disruption due to travel industry bankruptcies and changes in the climactic, environment, political and local conditions of the country, as well as the possibility that the Participant may be unable to travel as scheuled due to personal emergency and other reasons beyond the control of BT and as set forth in this Agreement.

AIR TICKETING:  The Participant is solely responsible for his or her own air travel arrangements and for all associated fees, including any necessary airport/hotel transfers and layover costs ; however, as a courtesy BT may assist with international air reservations at no extra cost other than those costs imposed by the airlines.  Since BT cannot anticipate the availability of particular flight days and times, especially during holiday periods when flights are very difficult to book, we recommend that the Participant prepare to commit to travel dates as early as possible after registering for a travel program.  If BT must change the travel program dates or cancel a trip as set forth in this Agreement, BT will not be responsible for any air ticket costs that may have been incurred for flight arrangements booked by the Participant.
